Mother Church

Gothic foundation from 13th cent. Many clues are kept, in spite of the destruction due to the 1755 earthquake and the later reconstruction, wich inverted the Temple's orientation.
Remarkable reliquary, offered by the princess D. Vetácia, according to the tradition.
Gothic bas-relief from 14th cent., offered by Queen Elizabeth to D. Vetácia, representing a Santiago Knight fighting the Moors.
